Who we are
COMPASS has been established since the year 2000 and exists to help support and develop the social work and social care workforce.
We publish COMPASS, the annual guide to social work and social care each year, which is the definitive guide to the sector, helping people at all levels find courses, start a career, or take their next step in an already established career pathway. COMPASS has the largest circulation of any publication in the sector.
Our events have developed from successful, cost-effective recruitment exhibitions into the leading social work and social care events throughout the country, incorporating not just recruitment, but also a conference covering positive practice, career development and training. With three events across the UK, if you are an organisation looking to recruit and network, or an individual looking to update your training, gain CPD hours, or to find a job, you will have a great day at our events which showcase the best in professional practice throughout the sector.
